visitor studies·visitor audience research·impact measurement – IN HUNGARIAN
The book deals with the relationship between those who manage cultural and natural heritage and those who own it – the audience.
The book publication is a result of our 1.5 year collaboration with three Hungarian heritage sites (Budakeszi Wild Park, Szentendre Skanzen, Hungarian Museum for Trade and Tourism), where we implementes small measures in order to get a better picture about their audience and the situation of visitor studies in Hungary.
How much do heritage institutions know about their visitors? What motivates them when doing any kind of visitor research / survey? What do they use the results for?
The project was closed with the forum Értékeld a látogatót! / Value your visitor! on 21 and 22 February 2019 at the Budapest Business School (BGE). The forum aimed to inspire heritage professionals to discuss and map the situation and possibilities of visitor studies in Hungary.
