Dancing Histor(y)ies

Dancing Histor(y)ies focuses on promoting archaeological sites through performing arts and aims to identify an innovative, effective, and replicable model for the enhancement of cultural sites actively involving local communities and their stories in artistic production and conscious heritage enjoyment meanwhile also promoting the international circulation of European artists. 

Within the 3-year-long period of the project (2023-2026) we create an adaptable co-creation model, we organisze artistic workshops and residency programs with the involvement of communities in 5 different countries, 2 editions of Dancing Histor(y)ies Festivals, and a new training program for heritage experts, community organisers and dancers.

KÖME is responsible for evaluating the Dancing Histories model and the co-creation process of the with the abovementioned groups of stakeholders
